If he had been with me
I don’t usually like romances but, this one I was very fond of. Autumn is next door neighbors with Finn. Who have been friends since forever. But as they grow up they grow apart. Autumn finds her own clique and so does Finn. She becomes an underdog. He becomes popular.
Autumn and Jamie are dating, but she still wonders… If he had been with me.. Now she must make things right before its too late. It goes from present and then we get background information. Until the final chapters, which are now in present.
This is a sad romance.
A play of unfortunate events will follow autumn and Finn. This book will have you turning the page no matter how sad or dark the story gets. Laura Nowlins writing was almost addicting, and I just needed to know how it ends. I give it a 5 star rating, this was truly amazing. I would say about 12 and up. Depends on what parents are okay with letting their kids read.
There is alcohol use, and of coarse kissing. What you would expect from a high school romance book.
